I am a New Hampshire native with a love for travel. I discovered I had a natural talent for photography after I took some classes many years ago in high school. I then took a semester at a art school in New Hampshire (which has since sadly closed it's doors). I have a love for animals of all shapes and sizes and a deep passion for nature. I attended the Community College of Vermont and graduated with a associates degree in environmental science. I do my photography as a hobby not a career, I find I enjoy it more that way. I like to experience nature and the natural beauty of the world and show it to people that may not otherwise notice or be able to see it. It is like a view of the world through my eyes. I try to avoid editing my photos as much as possible, I believe this helps keep the natural raw beauty more alive and preserved.
Winny, my wirehaired dachshund is the true inspiration of the name Wiener Dog Art. He is my best friend, my confidant, and my shadow. Dogs are perfect like that. My passion for animals only grew after Winny came into my life. I worked at a pet store for several years, took college classes and earned a dog care certificate (which includes grooming and training), I attended seminars which allowed me to receive a certificate in animal nutrition, I ran a large animal advocacy group, I have fostered dogs, I was on the board of a dog rescue, I was vice president of a pet charity in Connecticut, and I worked as a Vet Tech for several years.
I use my photography and craft skills to do a lot of fund raising for animal related organizations and non-profits.
